Safety
Everyone goes home the way they came.
Safety is planned before the first day on site and checked every morning after it. This is what that looks like on our projects.
Safety and health
What happens on every site, every day.
Under DOLE Department Order 13 and the Occupational Safety and Health Law (RA 11058), and the way we would run a site anyway.
A safety programme before the first day
Every project has a Construction Safety and Health Program filed with DOLE before work starts, and a safety officer on site, more of them as the crew grows.
Practice 1A-501Toolbox talks, every morning
The crew meets before work for ten minutes: the day's tasks, the hazards in them and what to do about each. Attendance is signed.
Practice 2A-502PPE, issued and worn
Hard hat, safety shoes, vest, gloves and eye protection are issued to every worker and checked at the gate. No PPE, no entry.
Practice 3A-503Harness checks before work at height
Every harness and lanyard is inspected before it is worn, and anyone above two metres is tied off. Scaffolds are tagged after inspection.
Practice 4A-504Permits for the dangerous work
Hot work, excavation, confined spaces and lifting each need a permit signed by the safety officer before they start.
Practice 5A-505Incidents reported to DOLE within 24 hours
Every accident is reported to DOLE within 24 hours, investigated, and written up with what changes so it does not happen again.
Practice 6A-506

Records
Safety you can read, not just a sign at the gate.
- Toolbox talk attendance, signed by every worker, every morning.
- Incident reports, each with what happened, who was hurt, the report to DOLE and what changed.
- A monthly safety report for each project, filed as the safety programme requires.
Clients see the record of their own project on request. How a job runs
A safe site is a site that finishes on time.
